Hi, I鈥檓 Izzy, and I am a sophomore studying information systems with a concentration in data analytics. I am a member of Voices of Equity, our health equity club, and outside of academics, I love to crochet and draw.

In the fall, I had the pleasure of attending IS Day. This was an event open to all Information Systems students, where they could get to know each other and some of their professors, eat good food and get fun merch! Unfortunately, it had to be moved indoors due to rain, but they made the most of it.听

When I walked in, I was greeted by my academic advisor, Correy, whom I absolutely adore. She gave me a wristband and told me to enjoy the event. Inside, I met with my IS mentor, Rebecca. Our first stop was at the boba tea table, where they had three different fun flavors to choose from: classic milk tea, grape and peach fruit tea. I chose grape, and we made our way over to the food table. Here, they had beef and vegetarian sliders, and also a popcorn machine! I couldn鈥檛 resist the smell of the popcorn, so I absolutely had to grab some of that.听

Our next stop was the glitter tattoo station, where you could choose from a variety of glitter colors and designs. Then we made sure to stop by and say hi to another IS academic advisor who was running the tote bag station. We grabbed a few Sharpies and put our own personalized designs on our bags. We finished off the day at the photo op station, where I got to capture the day's fun memories.听

I had so much fun at IS day and I cannot wait to go again next year!
