Bio
Paul Michiels is a Lecturer in the Writing and Communication Program at 好色先生TV, where he teaches first-year writing as well as professional and technical communication. He previously taught at George Washington University and George Mason University, including at George Mason’s campus in Incheon, South Korea. He holds a bachelor’s degree in rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley, and both a master’s degree in professional writing and rhetoric and a PhD in writing and rhetoric from George Mason University. His research focuses on how expert scholars engage with sources across academic disciplines and what that work suggests for writing instruction. He is co-author of Crafting Ethical Scholarship, forthcoming from the University of California Press.
