Kennedy Family Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of the Kennedy Family Endowed Scholarship is to provide financial support, based on both merit and financial need, to undergraduate students enrolled in the University's Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences who have demonstrated interest in studying the continuous relevance of Shakespeare's works. The amount of the scholarship varies from $1,000 to $3,000.

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, applicants must be Dietrich College primary majors, additional majors, or minors who are financial-aid eligible and meet at least one of the following criteria:

1. have taken a Shakespeare course with the Department of English at ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV or
2. be currently enrolled in 76-245 or 76-247 or
3. be a Literature & Culture primary or additional major or
4. have taken or are currently taking a course with Professors Christopher Warren and/or Stephen Wittek

Process

1. A call for applications will be made to eligible students via email from the Department of English.
2. Interested students will fill out an online application.
3. The recipient of the scholarship will be announced approximately one week after the application deadline.
