CMRA’s Ongoing Support for LEGO SPIKE Classrooms and Clubs

As LEGO® Education discontinues SPIKE™ Prime and SPIKE™ Essential, and LEGO® and FIRST® conclude their FIRST® LEGO® League partnership, many educators are facing uncertainty.
At the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy (CMRA), we want to be clear:
we will continue to support all of our SPIKE Prime and SPIKE Essential offerings.
What CMRA will Continue to Offer:
- SPIKE Prime and SPIKE Essential (we still provide the curriculum for the LEGO EV3!)
- Virtual SPIKE Prime Coding Curriculum. As LEGO SPIKE Prime kits become harder to obtain, educators can use our virtual environments to allow students to engage with SPIKE Prime-aligned coding experiences without requiring physical kits.
- Teacher training and certifications
- Student certifications
- Build Instructions and Supplemental Activities
These resources remain available to ensure continuity in your classroom.
