At the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, I handle financial transactions, approve ERs/PRCs, process scholarships, hire students (undergrad to PhD), and train employees on CMU’s business and travel policies- ensuring smooth operations for our thriving academic environment.
During my term, I would like the Staff Council and Benefits Committee to prioritize the areas highlighted by staff in surveys, such as Community Service Opportunities, Health Insurance and Prescription Plans, Extended Tuition Coverage, and Expanding Optional Benefits. Additionally, I would advocate for regular surveys to gather employee feedback and identify evolving needs, ensuring responsive and meaningful changes.
If I could have a superpower, it would be to save all the stray cats in the world.
