Bio

Indrani Halder is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Schwartz Center for Entrepreneurship, where she partners with faculty and technical founders to translate research innovations into scalable companies. A former tenure-track faculty at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Staff VP of Clinical Analytics at Elevance Health (Fortune 20), she operates at the intersection of advanced analytics, enterprise systems, and large-scale implementation. With a PhD in Genetics from Penn State and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon, she brings deep respect for research rigor alongside practical experience building products that perform in real-world markets.

She has led the launch of AI-enabled platforms within complex, highly regulated environments, guiding cross-functional teams from concept through enterprise deployment. Her work centers on aligning technical innovation with workflow realities, governance structures, stakeholder incentives, and sustainable revenue models. She helps founders evaluate where technology will encounter friction - organizational, regulatory, behavioral, or economic,  and design pathways that enable durable adoption at scale.

As an EIR, Indrani works founder-side on business model clarity, early design-partner development, enterprise go-to-market strategy, and investor readiness. While deeply experienced in healthcare, her advisory lens is industry-agnostic and grounded in execution discipline. She partners closely with faculty inventors to ensure that breakthrough ideas are supported by credible commercialization strategies, positioning technical innovation to move confidently from lab to lasting impact.
