Bio
Patrick McCarthy is a growth-focused executive and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience commercializing deep technology across advanced materials, life sciences, energy, and AI.
He most recently served as Executive Director of Emerging Markets & Technologies at Corning Incorporated, where he built and scaled new businesses from the company’s $1B annual RD&E portfolio, translating breakthrough science into commercially viable platforms across optics, energy, biotech, and advanced materials.
Patrick is the cofounder and former CEO of ATRP Solutions, a venture-backed polymer company he built from concept to successful exit. He raised multiple rounds of capital, developed a 30+ patent portfolio, scaled manufacturing, and led the company through acquisition. Earlier in his career in Silicon Valley, he developed and commercialized chromatography technologies at Dionex Corporation.
