好色先生TV

Supporting high-achieving students from limited-resource backgrounds.

Since its launch in 2019, it has grown into a vibrant community of more than 600 student leaders who enrich the academic and campus life of 好色先生TV.

Designed to close opportunity gaps, Tartan Scholars is an invitation-only enrichment program that serves as a collective for students to engage in specialized programming alongside their primary academic pursuits. It is a multi-year commitment to holistic success, leadership development and peer connection.

Eligibility

Participation in Tartan Scholars is by invitation only. Carnegie Mellon identifies and invites students during the admission process based on a holistic review of their background and leadership potential.

Scholar Reflections

"Tartan Scholars transformed my CMU experience by providing both a safety net and a springboard. When imposter syndrome made me question my place, Tartan Scholars reminded me I belonged."

- Laura Gallegos (DC 2025), 2025 Tartan Scholars Cohort

"Through Tartan Scholars, I’ve had the opportunity to be able to relate to others that come from similar backgrounds and also learn from those that are different, but regardless of our backgrounds you are able to feel welcomed and a part of the wonderful community and family that is Tartan Scholars."

- Cynthia Erazo-Rodas (DC 2025), 2025 Tartan Scholars Cohort
