Join us for various in-person and virtual events specifically designed for admitted students. Learn more about these events below!
Visit Days
Turn Tartan Visit Days will be held throughout March and April, offering opportunities to explore campus facilities, meet current students and connect with your academic program and campus organizations. Although the schedules differ slightly for each day, below are highlights of some of these events.
- A student-led campus tour
- A presentation from your academic school or program*
- A student panel to hear about life on campus
- Lunch on campus
- An admitted student information session
- A financial aid presentation
*Please note that academic schools and programs do not have sessions on every Visit Day. Be sure to check each day's schedule on the calendar to determine the Visit Days in which your program of choice will be participating.
Virtual Events
Can鈥檛 make it to campus? There are a variety of online Turn Tartan events for admitted students, including information sessions from academic departments and other campus partners, live virtual campus tours, chats with current Tartans and plenty of other ways to find out what it means to be a student at Carnegie Mellon.

- Academic Webinars, hosted by the schools and programs to share more about what to expect as a first-year student in their curriculum.
- Campus Life Webinars, hosted by various offices across campus to discuss next steps, student resources, the campus experience and more.
Virtual Event Spotlights
