Architecting the creative operating system

Co-founder, Verber Studio

Sakshi Mishra (ENG 2015) isn't just applying artificial intelligence 鈥 she is architecting the infrastructure that controls it.

With her new venture, Sakshi is tackling the "orchestration" problem in generative AI. She is the co-founder of Verber Studio, a creative operating system designed to close the gap between raw AI potential and reliable business results. By treating brand governance as code, Verber Studio allows founders and modern brands to generate deeply personalized, multi-modal campaigns that adhere strictly to brand guidelines. That solves the reliability issues that plague current tools.

鈥淲e鈥檙e moving into an era where the cost of creation has hit zero, but the cost of management has skyrocketed,鈥 she says. 鈥淭he new barrier isn't building a product or generating assets; it's distributing the narrative. Verber Studio provides the 鈥榦rchestration layer鈥 that allows teams to scale their story without losing their soul.鈥

Sakshi鈥檚 career has been defined by optimizing complex systems. Previously, she held a research role at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), where she used AI to optimize renewable energy systems. That work landed her a spot on the 2022 Forbes 30 Under 30 Energy list.

Following that, she served as a senior AI engineer at Microsoft AI Technology and Research working on a high-fidelity simulation and training platform for autonomous AI systems. There, she focused on generating synthetic data to train AI agents (like drones), a technical challenge that directly informs her work at Verber.

鈥淭he thread connecting my work at NREL, Microsoft and Verber is system optimization,鈥 she says. 鈥淲hether it鈥檚 electrons, drones or brand assets, I build systems that bring order to chaos.鈥

A matchmaker for curiosity

鈥淚 always think of CMU fondly for introducing me to AI not just as code, but as a lens to view the world. If you fall in love with the problem, the solution follows.鈥
