To protect against financial fraud, we've added a security feature to Workday Payment Elections. This step ensures only the verified account owner can make direct deposit changes, safeguarding your funds from external threats.
What You Need to Know
- Verification Requirement: If you attempt to view or edit your bank information in Workday, you'll first need to verify your identity by entering the full account number currently on file.
- Critical Security Lockout: Verification is limited to six attempts. After six failed tries, your access will be locked to protect your funds. If you're locked out, you must wait for manual restoration of your access before making changes.
Important Reminders and Restoration Steps
- Be prepared: Have the full account number of your current direct deposit bank account ready before logging in to Workday.
- If Locked Out: Submit a request to HR Services. Restoration involves a mandatory, multi-step process for your security.
