What excites me about quantitative finance is turning mathematical ideas into models that explain real markets. I recently graduated from IIT Guwahati with a B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing and a Minor in Data Science and AI. My interests span probability, optimization, machine learning, and market microstructure. Through my undergraduate research, I modeled electronic financial markets by studying limit order book dynamics, order flow, and optimal execution strategies. I also worked with high-frequency market data to analyze price formation and market behavior. During my internship at Salesforce, I developed AI-powered tools in Python that integrated large language models with cloud observability systems to automate incident investigations and streamline engineering workflows. I'm excited by problems that require equal parts mathematical rigor, computational thinking, and curiosity, a mindset I hope to bring to quantitative research. If you'd like to talk about markets, machine learning, football, or simply exchange ideas over coffee, I'd love to connect.
